Great Job on Guildford Harmony show Guys. Thanks for all you do for this hobby of ours, there can be no better ambassadors for British Barbershop.

Mike and Faybianne Warner

Hey Guys,

Wonderful to be working with you! Your dedication and commitment are a testament to you as a group and as 4 regular joe's. Your hard work and attention to detail will, I know, pay off big time! Here's to the championships in Scarborough.....I can't wait!
Cheers

Over the years we've made sure to be in the theatre when ‘By Appointment’ are on stage. They've always been favorites of ours and are an important part of our barbershop experience. As true friends, they've stayed together and worked hard at this wonderful hobby of barbershop singing. Congratulations to you By Appointment. You brighten all our lives.
Dave and Rose, Oakwood Recording Studios

I'll never forget the 'Melon-Cauli-Baby' Routine featuring Laurel and Hardy, Charlie Chaplin and a Keystone Cop to boot on tenor! Very funny and ground breaking. Congratulations on 21 years!
David Strachan, Ex-B.A.B.S. Music Publication Manager,

Toronto Northern Lights’ &  ‘Surround Sound’ Quartet

I
met By Appointment in the late 80s during my first trip to the UK as a Society music specialist. I found them to be dedicated to their craft and still have a great time singing together…it doesn’t get much better than that. They are equally at home with a tender ballad as they are with something humorous and their passion for the music and their pursuit of bring the piece to life is delightful to observe.
My congratulations to them for all these years of entertainment.
Bill Rashleigh, S.P.E.B.S.Q.S.A. Music Educator

By Appointment - still in there fighting after 21 years.  I count it as a privilege to have known you, sung with you, sung against you and announced your various medal placings over the years; long may it continue. Or maybe this is your year!

II feel immensely privileged to be one of a very fortunate group of people who have known the three original members of ‘By Appointment’ since the inception of this magnificent quartet.
It could be said that ‘By Appointment’ are to B.A.B.S. what Terry Wogan is to BBC Radio 2 and maybe, one day they too will be included in the Queen’s Honours List and their name will indeed receive Royal Approval.
Laurie Peters, Ex-B.A.B.S. Chairman

My wife and I have been fans of ‘By Appointment’ since they first raised their collective heads above the parapet to brave the judges’ flack!  Every time we’ve heard them, without exception, we’ve been delighted and hugely entertained by their performances.

Brian Wainwright, B.A.B.S. Chairman  (1984/1985)

Congratulations on your 21st Anniversary.
I remember wood shedding with you guys at International in Kansas over a few beers after your appearance and having a great time doing so.
Best regards to you all.
Steve Delahante, Westchester Chapter S.P.E.B.S.Q.S.A. Society Judge

It hardly seems possible that By Appointment have been together for 21 years. When most quartets stay together for months, or sometimes only weeks, it is a clear sign hat these guys really enjoy each other’s company to continue to sing and entertain for so long. Over these years, the quartet has given much pleasure to many audiences, on the contest stage, in big shows and in more ordinary sing-out surroundings.  They have demonstrated comedy and pathos, made us laugh and moved us to tears May By Appointment continue together for years to come.

Stuart Lines, B.A.B.S. Chairman

I started singing Barbershop in 1984 and some of my “early years” memories are of the hugely entertaining performances from this great quartet. I have had the privilege of sharing the stage with B.A on many occasions and have had the added pleasure of being entertained by them on numerous occasions throughout the years. I hope that you have many more happy singing years together so that we can continue to share in your enjoyment. Best wishes to you all.
Dale Kynaston, Pitch Invasion –Lead  B.A.B.S. Gold Medal Champion Quartet 2006

As an ex-member of Wessex Harmony (late Wessex) Corn Dollies... I learned how great this quartet " By Appointment" are... both as singers and as friends and supporters of the ladies' chorus. May they long continue to sing together.

Paul was a wonderfully inspiring Director to sing for. I miss the chorus terribly.
All my best wishes to the four of you.
